My name is Kris Aare Naicker and I created Lakris Smykker in July 2023. My small business is based in the beautiful town of Sorø and I have named it after my influencer name 'Lady Lakris'. There is a great story behind that and you can read more about who I am here.

The story behind Lakris Smykker

Around April 2023, my daughter, 6 years old at the time, came home from school with a beautiful (and colorful) bracelet she had made. She had put both her name and mine on it. She had obviously also put a lot of thought and effort into it. She expressed to me how much she loved making bracelets, so I decided to begin making bracelets at home with her as a mother-daughter activity. At this time, I was going through a low point in my life due to several difficulties that I had experienced - in short, I felt beat down and hopeless. So, I was pleasantly surprised, when the activity began to make me feel uplifted.

 

My daughter and I started to make jewelry for family and friends. The optimism and joy I felt soon led me to the thought of encouraging self-love and positivity in others. It was here that the idea of Lakris smykker was born.

I wanted to take the joy of jewelry shopping to new level - I wanted to provide an experience that generates hope.

To help others feel encouraged, strengthened, uplifted and most importantly to understand their worth and love themselves. I hope to start a spirit of upliftment in Denmark for people from all walks of life.

It is ambitious, yes, but I have hope... and I want to share it with others.
