My name is Kris Aare Naicker and I created Lakris Jewelry in July 2023. My small business is based in the beautiful town of Sorø and I have named it after my influencer name 'Lady Lakris'.

The story behind Lakris Jewelry

In April 2023, my daughter, 6 years old at the time, came home from school with a beautiful (and colorful) bracelet she had made. She had put both her name and mine on it as well as symbols that represented moments in both our lives. My daughter had obviously also put a lot of thought and effort into the design.

She then expressed to me how much she loved making bracelets, so I decided to begin making bracelets at home with her as a mother-daughter activity. At this time, I was going through a low point in my life. So, I was pleasantly surprised, when the activity began to make me feel uplifted - beyond the bonding time with my daughter.

 

My daughter and I began to make jewelry for family and friends. The optimism and joy I felt soon led me to the thought of encouraging self-love and positivity in others. It was here that the idea of Lakris Jewelry was born.

 

But, I wanted to take the joy of jewelry shopping to new level - I wanted to provide an experience that generated hope. So, I decided that with every jewelry sold, I would send words of encouragement in the form of famous and ... not so famous quotes. It might not seem like much, but to the person who might need it, its a new day, a renewed strength and maybe a life saved.

My hope is to help others feel encouraged, strengthened, uplifted and most importantly to understand their worth and love themselves. I hope to start a spirit of upliftment in Denmark for people from all walks of life.

It is ambitious - yes, but I have hope... and I want to share it with others.
